80 years of aerospace leadership

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics was founded in 1963 because of the merger between American Rocket Society (formally known as the American Interplanetary Society in the 1930’s) and the Institute of the Aerospace Sciences (formally now as the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences in also in the 1930’s).  AIAA has achieved almost every accomplishment in modern American flight.  The society has over 30, 000 individual members from 91 countries.  AIAA has 95 corporate members and is the worlds largest technical society dedicated to worldwide aerospace profession.  AIAA carries on what its founding societies had started. BLUECUBE Aerospace is a proud member of the AIAA.
